Dahi Vada/Thairu Vada

This is a famous south-indian dish especially in Tamil-Nadu which is served as a snack or along with breakfasts like Idli-sambar or Dosa.
Preparation method of vada is the same as we have already posted as Uzhunnu Vada

Now to make Dahi vada you can follow the following steps:
1. Let the uzhunnu vada cool for some time.
2. In a bowl of water, keep these vadas soaked for 10-15 minutes.
3. Now press the vada by keeping them in between your palm and press-off all the water content.
The more you press the more good it will be, because when you press more, the oil content lost is also more.
4. In another bowl, Take 3 tbsp of thick curd and add 2-3 tbsps of water and adjust the taste by adding some salt.
5. Now put the vadas into the curd and soak well. Keep for atleast half an hour.
6. This can be served chilled by keeping in the refrigerator for half an hour or if using chilled curd can be served by keeping outside too.
7. In a bowl serve the vadas coated with curd and some boondhi mixture on top.
