1. Grated Coconut -1/2 coconut.
2. Red Chilly - 8.
3. Coriander seeds -3 tbps
4. Urud Dal- 1 tsp
1. Roast grated coconut,coriander seeds,urud dal and red-chillies in low flame till crisp golden brown.
2. Grind the mixer without adding water till the oil starts coming out. Grind for two more minutes till the mix takes a very smooth texture.
This cocnut paste/Massolu can be stored in an airtight container/bottle.It has a long shelf -life. It can be used whenever a curry like kadala curry,soy-bajjile gassi etc is prepared.
